To support families who have experienced bereavement of any kind.
To restore joy, peace and love in our lives.
To restore positive focus on visions and dreams.
To restore self belief and self achievement.
To enable people to express their true feelings.
To promote positive communication in households.
Our main target is families, schools, churches and local community and we intend to make sure all the children who are going through bereavement (death, separation, divorce) will get the right support.
Children spend more time at school than at home therefore it is necessary for teachers, staff members to be well equipped on how to identify changes and help bereaved or grieving children. Children are often labelled as naughty, stubborn, withdrawn etc. yet their behaviour could be affected with their loss and they will be seeking attention or crying out for help. etc. They need someone who will help them cope with their loss, listens and believe them.
We are CRB checked and we are constantly updating ourselves through training and study days. The latest study day was Safeguarding arranged by North Hertfordshire Community Voluntary Services. How to be an effective treasurer by Stevenage CVS.
We are a non-profit voluntary organisation.
